Default How green is your green going

Every day more and more people are taking
steps towards a greener living. Whether it
is finding new ways to reuse items which we
normally toss out, or seperating items and
taking them to a recycling center, or even
changing the types of products used in the home
to those which are made from recycled products.
My question to you is, how is it going for you?
Are you finding it getting easier and easier to
make going green a part of your daily routine,
or are you finding it more of a hassle? I have
found that making my home into a more green
home is quite simple and easy. It only takes a few
minutes of my time to seperate items for recycling,
I am also learning of some great new ways to reuse
items around my home, that I would have normally
just tossed out with the trash. Every day I seem to
learn of a new way to make my home into a more
green living one. What are some of the ways that you
have found to make your home more green?
I have started a compost heap, changed all the light
bulbs in my home to energy efficient ones, I keep a
careful watch on the amount of electricity which is
used. I unplug all appliances which are not in use.
I dont allow the water to run needlessly. I set the
thermostat to a lower setting. and before I throw any
thing out I try to find another way to use the item.
So tell us how your doing with your green home?
