Default Help Keep It Green

I was thinking earlier today about how most of the time the elderly rarely get out during the winter because of the horrible weather.

I know a couple of elderly people who once a week take items in to be recycled that they have collected throughout the week, and I realized that during the winter they may just simply toss everything in the trash because they can't get to the recycling center.

I also go about once a week so I am going to speak to them about allowing me to take their stuff in as well to help keep them in the going green effort as well as helping to keep a little more out of the landfills.

This might be something that you all can do as well. The more that we do now the better off the planet is going to be in the future.

Also it is always nice to help those who aren't able to do certain things anyway. Everyone appreciates a bit of help every now and then!!

This is so true .Helping others is inportant. One it makes us feel better
about our selves and others benifit from this action.

I enjoy helping out others when ever i can it make me feel good about my self as a person.

If more people would do this every day it would be wonderfull,it just seems to me that this feeling comes to most people one time a year Christmas time.

So every one out there lets have this feeling all year long and help those who cant help or just need it a little more during the cold and dont forget when it really hot out side they might not be able to go out and do the either.Lets us bring back acts of kidness and help our younger youth get into this feeling also,

One step at a time. I have seen some small things like helping neighbors sprial into some rather large movements across the country, so this could do just that.

Helping someone and then getting that person to help someone else, well that would mean that this country would be much better off because people would be helping one another rather than just ignoring the problems that we all face on a daily basis.

So one thing at a time. I know that I will continue on helping neighbors with their recycling because it helps them, helps myself and helps the future. So maybe more and more people will see this and jump on board and start helping people. Hopefully this will be a habit that will catch on quickly.

Our town put in big recycling dumpsters for the whole community to use which I think is awesome! There are seperate cubicles for different items... paper, glass and so on. It's very simple and free to use. Every community should have these available to them.

I agree it sure would be nice to have something like this in our area. Dumpsters like this sure would make things easier. Though we don't have them in our area.

Maybe those towns who don't have something like these dumpsters should push to get them. I imagine that something like these would get more people into recycling!! Most of the people in my area do recycle though I know there are some who for unknown reasons do not recycle and don't even bother trying. I don't know what is going on with people who refuse to recycle.

I would think everyone wants a better future, though I guess on that I am completely wrong. Maybe one of these days things will change and everyone will recycle and people will make it easier to recycle everything.
