Default Greener Gardens

Every year we plant a rather large vegetable garden. Actually it takes up 90% of our yard. Though we manage to plant enough veggies to last us all year.

Though one thing that we refuse to do is use any type of chemical pesticide on our foods. The reasons we dont do this is because well these chemicals are harsh and even hazardous to people. Granted everything is washed before it is used, but still I have a fear that something may be missed, and someone ends up sick or even worse.

Another reason we refuse to use pesticides on our garden is for the health of the animals. There are some wildlife that manages to sneak past our fence and munch on a few veggies, and we want no harm to come to them. I wont say we like them eating our garden, but we wouldnt kill over it.

The biggest reason of all, is that we dont want these chemicals to pollute the earth. Even though we do all that we can to make sure that we dont pollute, and we recycle we still believe that helping to keep the planet as toxic free as possible is extremely important.

We want our children, grandchildren and so on to be able to enjoy a beautiful and healthy environmnet for as long as possible.

After doing a bit of research there are many different ways that you can keep your garden safe from pests all the while protecting mother earth. So I suggest a bit of research and learn all that you can to help protect your garden as well as the planet for pesticide free gardens that will work in your area.

You know back in the time there were no pesticides. I remember my mom always had a garden and she never used any of that stuff, and the food was good. It had a natural taste.

Anythime you have the room to grow your own garden do it!!!! yOU WILL BE SURPIRSED at the taste.

Oh it is amazing eating FRESH veggies out of your own garden, and its not just because you grew them yourself.

I was going to buy some oranges the other day when I went grocery shopping....I quickly decided against it. For some reason the oranges felt as though they had been dipped in wax!!!!

It was horrible! I think I will just stick to eating mostly what we grow here ourselves.
