Graywater or greywater, whichever spelling you prefer, is water that is left after bathing, washing dishes, or doing laundry and it comprises up to 85% of waste water produced by each household.

Greywater from the bathtub can be used to flush the toilet with but only by pouring this water in the bowl. Never pour it into the storage tank at the back of the bowl.

It is said that greywater can be used to water plants with, but personally, I wouldnt use it for this purpose. But if you do, make sure it never touches the tops or leaves of the plants.

Never use greywater to water any garden plant that will be eaten raw.
