Green nutrition for our pets
Daily we are all finding new ways to go green. Some of these ways are by adjusting the thermostat or shutting off a light. These are thing that we all know we should do to help our enviroment. Though what about your pet? Are you including your pets in the effort for a more green future? Our pets are also being included in our efforts to go green. This is done by using shampoos which do not contain harmful chemicals, flea and tick itmes which are enviromentally safe yet effective. Though we can all take it one step further. Pet food. We are all seeing more green ways to nutrition and this also includes nutrition for our pets.The Kelton Research conducted a national survey which shows that around 70% of those who own dogs and cats are now including their pets in a more green diet. They are purchasing their pets food, which is more green and healthier for their pets. This study also showed that around 90% of people surveyed know the importance of including their pets nutrition in the efforts to go green, only around 37% are making the effort to have a greener diet for their pets.Apparently women are more likely to improve their green deficit while only 32% of the males surveryed said they improve their pets green consumption. The number of people who are conscious of how important it is to have a greener diet for themselves are also conscious of its importance to their pets as well. Though there are still thousands of people who are not aware of the fact that a greener diet for themselves is just as important as a greener diet for their pets. So the next time you plan to purchase food for your pets, make sure you do a bit of research and find one which is going to be a more green choice, to include your pets in our efforts for a greener tomorrow.
