Default Green and electronics.

We all have electronics in our home nowadays. If you want to
be apart of the movement to improve our planet there are a
few things that you can do.

Turn off your computer at night. An appliance that isn't in use
and turned on uses electricity. If you have other appliances that
you aren't using unplug them. It is like a dripping faucet it may
take a whole year for it to use enough water for you to really
notice but it is still using it. Appliances are doing the same when
they are plugged in and not in use.

If you have an old cell phone battery don't throw it in the garbage
take it to the nearest Verizon Wireless store for disposal. Happy
greening.

Default Re: Green and electronics.

These are some good tips, and are important especially in today's economy. Not only do we need to be "green" conscious, but being green can also put a few extra dollars into our pockets.
