Default Going Green Together

Something I have noticed in my area is that there are many elderly who want to recycle items yet they are not able to take them in.

So I started speaking to those I would see and letting them know that if they wish to recycle that I would help them by taking things into the recycling centers for them or with them.

Now there are more than 15 elderly people in my area which I visit once a month to take their items in for them or with them.

This has reduced a huge amount of waste that was being just tossed out with the trash and of course has also added a few dollars into their pockets for saving their cans.

This might be a good idea for more people to try in their areas to help others while helping the planet. I know it sure made a difference around here and I have made some great new friends.
