Default Going green cleaning products.

I had seen ads for Green Works cleaning products by Clorox and was very curious to see how well these products would actually clean.

When I went to the store the other day, I bought a 24 ounce bottle of Green Works bathroom cleaner for $2.75. Of course, when I got home, my curiosity as to the cleaning power of this product got the best of me, so off to the bathroom to try it out I went.

With most bathroom cleaners, I always had to wet the tub first then spray, scrub, spray again and rescrub the tub to get it clean.

Not so with Green Works. I sprayed it on the side of the tub, and started scrubbing, and low and behold, it took about half the effort to clean my tub. And that was without wetting the tub first. Needless to say, I was impressed that this product worked that easily and with half the effort needed to clean with other products.

Another plus to this product, is the fact that there is not an overwhelming odor of a cleaning product as you use it. In fact, there is no warning on the bottle to use in an adequately ventilated area. So no danger of inhaling harmful fumes.

This product is made from plant and mineral-based ingredients and is biodegradable, a plus for the eco- system.

I would advise you to try this product, I think you would be more than happy with the results.

Default Going green cleaning products

This sounds like a great product and is already on my list of things to purchase tomorrow. Thanks! I am always looking for better products to make my life as a mom a little easier. I think I literally spend half of my day cleaning this or that and it starts all over again the very next day.

Is this product only for tubs, sinks etc. or is it a multi-surface formula? Basically what I am wondering is, is whether or not it can be used to clean the toilet? You say it's odor isn't overwhelming so that would be great if I could replace what I normally use for the toilet which is enough to make me choke and make my eyes water. I normally use sno-bowl, which is a great cleaner but it smells aweful. I have a really small bathroom and it is hard to stand in there long enough to get the cleaning done. Well, hopefully I can find this at the store and give it a try. I will let you know how it does if I can!

Wink Going green cleaning products

I admit this post got the best of me. I have a very old tub in my home and it tends to get really dirty, really fast. It is really annoying. I am constantly cleaning.

I was about to begin my household cleaning routine, but of course I was really dragging my feet and decided to do a little reading. I came across this post and I just had to try this product. So off to the store I went.
No I didnt waste any gas I had other things to get also but was waiting til later in the day to go.
Any how after getting home again I went to the bathroom and tried to clean the tub. It worked wonders on my tub.
My hubby is always greasey and grimy form work, and never rinses the tub out. The green works bathroom cleaner is amazing. I spent about half the time cleaning the tub than I usally do, and all the dirt and grim just seemed to wash away. It was great.

Clorox also makes an all purpose cleaner, a toilet bowl, and a window cleaner that I am aware of off hand. But I didnt see any of these products offered where I was shopping that day.

When I do find the rest of their assortment of products, I will buy them, try them, and let you know the outcome.

I love the tub cleaner though because my husband also is always greasy for working on cars and this stuff works great.
