Default Energy Efficient Lighting

I have begun to make the switch over to the CFL lightbulbs in my house. It has taken me so long because they cost so much but now Family Dollar carries them in my area through our local electricity company and they are only a buck each.

Also with these light bulbs they are guaranteed to last I believe five years and if they burn out ahead of time they will replace them for free. You can't beat that! I imagine most of the major electricity companies are doing this now.

The biggest thing that i have noticed though is that the CFL lightbulbs are not as bright as the incandescent ones. If you have a CFL in a room and an incandescent one as well you can see the difference. The money I will save on electric will make up the difference though lol!

They also make LED light bulbs but I haven't tried any of those yet. Have any of you? They are also supposed to be much more energy efficient.
