Default Cleaning with products you make yourself.

Baking soda is one of the most commonly used products to be used at home for cleaning and for removing odors. One of the advantages in using baking soda as a scouring agent is that it is much less abrasive than many products on the market today.

You can use unflavored meat tenderizer to get rid of milk stains. Just make a paste of the tenderizer and some water and apply to the stain and let sit, then launder as usual.

Yogurt is great for cleaning piano keys. It will make them gleam.

Clean fake flowers by putting them in a bag with about a half cup of salt, shake the bag and then remove the flowers and shake the salt off of them. Or you can clean them in water to which you have added dishwashing liquid. Rinse and place in dish drainer to dry.

Vinegar is another great natural cleaning agent. It can be used on windows in conjunction with newspapers for a sparkling, streakfree window.

To clean your garbage disposal, put in a tray of ice cubes and some lemon rinds, the ice does the cleaning and the lemon handles any unpleasant odors.

There are many ways to clean without using chemicals. Care to share yours?
