Default Ants in your home.

I woke up this morning to really tiny ants on my kitchen counter where someone had spilled sugar.

I took a damp paper towel and picked up all the ants and then cleaned the countertop but they just keep coming back.

This is a common problem in the summer time but the other problem is how to get rid of them with out there being any danger to food, your family or the environment.

I grabbed the Anywhere Hard Surface cleaner and sprayed the counter well and this did kill the ants that were there at the moment and then I went searching online for answers to this problem. And some of these answers were quite unusual.

Take for instance, that if you draw a chalk line across where the ants enter your home, they wont cross that line.

Several natural ant repellents that you can use are bay leaves, cinnamon, black pepper, mint, cayenne pepper, and cloves
You cant get much safer than the above ant repellants.

Spraying a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water mixed around the exterior of you home will also help keep ants from entering the house.

And lastly, talcum powder, the scented kind, will also deter ants from entering your home.

Now, back to my ant problem and Iwill let you know what I had the best luck with.
