Always Carry a Bag

Where ever you go, if you look around you the chances of you seeing trash on the ground is quite easy. To help keep this problem under control carry a small trash bag with you to help clean up the area.

If more people do this the trash is going to disappear, the area will look a lot better and hopefully those tossing their trash will take notice and start using a trash can or carrying a bag themselves.

I know that is wishful thinking but we all have to have hope. I hate seeing litter everywhere I look because people don't care about what that crap does not only to people but the animals as well.

Maybe one of these days people will actually start to care about the environment and clean up after themselves, again I know it is more wishful thinking.

I also live in hope that one day people will take more care of the environment, homealone! Another advantage of always carrying a bag is for those unexpected shopping trips. Help to reduce the amount of plastic bags we use by always carrying a re-useable shopping bag with you. Why not just keep a couple in your car so you always have them handy for unexpected grocery shopping trips?
All these little every day changes are so easy to make and can make a big difference to our environment!!

I even have a shopping bag that I carry in my purse. It neatly folds up and will fit into my smallest purse. If I can manage to do these kinds of things to help my planet then I don't see why others don't as well as businesses.

Absolutely! A lot of grocery stores in Europe now charge for plastic bags to try and reduce plastic bag usage. Now someone just needs to do something about the amount of plastic bags used by cloth stores etc....

I also always have cloth grocery bags in my vehicles and also carry a few plastic garbage bags in case I find trash that needs cleaned up. Carrying a pair of work gloves in your vehicle is also a good idea - you never know what kind of mess you will find!!

I even carry a few trash bags on our boat - and have my husband stop so that I can pick up the floating trash that we find in the water. (I once threatened to throw a man overboard who threw a can out of our boat - either he went in after the can voluntarily and I'd wait for him to re-board the boat, or I'd throw him in and we'd leave him there!! Of course I wouldn't have left him in the middle of that river - but I believe I would have honestly pushed him off the boat!!!
