Non-Resident Indian
Indian real estate sector is on boom and this is the right time to invest in property in India to reap the highest rewards.Buying real estate in India needs buying agents also known as relocation agents or property search agents is a term used to describe people acting as agents on behalf of a buyer and not the seller, as do traditional Estate agents or, in the United States, Real estate brokers whose job is to obtain the maximum price for a property for the seller. Buying agents represent the buyer's interests and normally undertake negotiations on their behalf to acquire a property for the best possible price and terms. In most societies, rich or poor, a significant fraction of the total wealth is in the form of land and buildings. In most advanced economies, the main source of capital used by individuals and small companies to purchase and improve land and buildings is mortgage loans (or other instruments). Investing in India property is a good decision. There is no slowdown in real estate business. The numbers are great, not just for sales but for leasing, too. Over the past few months, a number of major institutional and private investors have been selling off large chunks of their portfolios of prime commercial real estate.
Non-Resident Indian or NRI refers to a person of Indian origin staying in a different global location for employment/carrying on business or vocation. They are spread across the world with an estimated population of 40 to 100 million. Most of the NRI populate have migrated to alien countries for better job prospect and future but with the advent of global MNCs (Multinational companies) and implementation of revised foreign policies in India, the NRIs are driven to become a part of this fastest emerging economy. To encourage this initiation of NRIs to resettle and return back to India, they are granted the following facilities:
• Maintenance of bank accounts in India.
• Investments in securities/shares of, and deposits with Indian firms/companies.
• Investments in immovable properties in India.
