Default Wintertime home showings.

If you live in an area of our country where it snows a lot or there are ice storms, there are some safety factors to keep in mind when showing your home for sale.

Remove snow and ice from your sidewalks, steps, and driveway and sprinkle with salt to to melt any remaining snow and ice to prevent accidents to individuals coming to view your home.

Remove snow from overhanging branches to prevent the weight of the snow from causing the branches to break thus preventing another type of accident.

If snow is deep, remove it from carport roofs and all other areas that have very little support.

You can also use these days that there is snow covering everything to check out your roof. If the snow is melting rather quickly up there, it means that you attic is not sufficiently insulated, thus letting heat escape.
