Default Watering Flowers

I know it seems like it rains for about a week then the next there is nothing. Even though it seems like there has been enough rain to keep outside plants watered, you still need to check them to make sure.

The sun and wind will zap water from the plants quickly and easily, so even after a day or two of no rain and not being watered make sure that you check on them and water them if needed.

We had so much rain not long ago I thought that all of my plants would be almost drowning, though when the sun came out, I went to check on them and they were extremely dry and in dire need of some water.

After all of the money I have put into creating this beautiful garden the last thing I want to happen is have everything die in it because of it not being watered.

So I just wanted to remind everyone to check on your plants and don't just think that they are alright, cause they may not be.

You are right about checking on your plants. And be sure to keep an eye on your houseplants that you have outside for the summer.

In this heat, your potted plants really dry out quickly and sometimes you may even have to water them twice a week.

So, be sure to check all plants a couple days a week just to be sure that they all have sufficient water.

And, dont forget your outside animals. Make sure that a good amount of fresh clean water is available to them at all times.

I don't have any flower beds this year. I haven't had time to fool with anything. I do have a couple of houseplants out on my patio though and I am one to forget about plants so I bought those self watering globes. They are awesome. I just fill the globes and insert them and then I don't have to worry about the plants for a while. Works like a charm!
