Default Started flowers inside?

Anyone start flowers inside this year? If so how are they doing? I started carnations from seeds inside, they are growing very nicely, with just using good soil, keeping them watered, have the planters in the window for sunlight.

I also started lemon drop marigolds, that do not seem to be growing, never grew this type before, used the same soil as the carnations, giving them light, water everything they should need, might end up having to get some fertilizer for them.

Now that the weather is breaking it is time to start my my bigger flowers outside, I like planting sunflower gardens every year.

Default Re: Started flowers inside?

I have started quite a few plants from my houseplants but have given them all away so far. I have so many houseplants that I am running out of places to put them, so giving them away at this point is my only alternative.

As to outdoor plants, I havent started any inside this year as I have the same problem in my outdoor flower beds. No room for except for maybe a couple brand new additions.
