Default Rock landscapes for your home

Rocks in the yard are one thing that most people try to rid themselves of. Though truefully rocks can be quite pleasent if done correctly. Depending on your yard as each yard varies, rocks can add a great deal of appeal and usefullness. Just be sure to choose rocks which will not be displaced by the weather in your area or by people.
Rocks in the front yard are ideal for places like around trees and shrubs. They are also quite lovely around walkways as borders.A nice idea to do is to place a wide patch of rocks under a tree, then place a bench under the trees. This makes for a great place to watch children play and visit with neighbors.
This idea can be carried over into your back yard as well, to continue with the beauty. Rocks to line your gardens are also a great way to use rocks in your yard. This will not only help keep the weeds away but will also ensure no one crushes your newly planted seedlings.
If you are wanting to create a pathway using rocks, pebble rocks are not the best to use. This is because winds can carry them away as well as them getting caught in the sole's of people's shoes. I would suggest that if you want to make a rock path, that you use larger rocks or even flagstones.
For a little added flair to your home, you can also place a few handfuls of rocks onto some news paper and paint them. Then after they have dried spread them through out to give the area some eye catching color.
Another great idea for anywhere in the yard is to place a patch of rocks down in a circluar pattern, then place a birdbath on top. To make sure that your birdbath is noticed by the birds, plant brightly colored flowers around in the rocks. This will also offer hours of amusement watching birds bathe and play.
