When you look at front lawns in the United States, you see vast areas of grass. The grass takes a lot of watering. Lawns in other parts of the world are vastly different, much more interesting and they don't take so much water to make them beautiful.

I really like the idea of changing the look of my front lawn (though in actuality it's more like my side yard that everyone sees). Having just a lot of grass, doesn't make a lot of sense, really. I love the idea of having a lot more interesting things to look at in this space. I think I will be trying some of these ideas out soon.
