I found some information on your ginger plant, which says that it needs more sun than shade and moist soil. My advice would be to try putting the plant in a sunny spot and keep the soil moist - not letting it completely dry out.

Thanks for posting the picture.....it really helped me find the right ginger plant.

Good luck with your ginger plant, and don't be discouraged if it takes awhile for the plant to look healthy once again. Since this is the time of year that plants naturally "rest" it can take longer for them to get healthy and green.

I cut all the dead off. some of the ones that are still green is putting out new leaves. Now I want to see some news ones coming up, and I will feel better.
