Default Making a raised garden

First you need to decide on what to grow,

Line the sides with the heavy plastic and also along the bottom of the timbers where they meet the ground.

Fill it with the best top soil you can find.

good wood for the frame is 2x6" untreated cedar boards. This will make a nice size garden for your needs, cedar boards are cheaper then redwood would be, but if you have the money redwood is much better.

Default Re: Making a raised garden

I take and make a mound out of mulch and then I get some potting soil to go on the top.

Then I take and put Plastic overlapping each other down all over the mounded ground making sure that everyspot is covered.

I take and get my plants put where I want them and then I cut holes out where my plants are going.

I put the plants in the holes and then I put down rubber mulch on top and around the plants.

Once all of that is done then I take and Place stone all around the outter edges of the mounded bed.

I have taken a five gallone bucket and put in in the ground on the top center of the bed and get a motor and water spout and make a little water spray up and fall right back in the bucket.
