Grass Seed

Workers recently came to this area and put down some grass seed to get the grass growing in areas where there were holes dug into our lawns for new water meters.

Now this is something that actually surprised me because I figured that they would not do this until in the Spring time. Though it has already been done and then about 2 days after they put the seed down they came around and put some straw over top of the seed.

I don't know what the straw will do, but I am just hoping that come next spring I will see some new grass coming in. Having these areas where there is no grass growing just makes the place look crappy and I don't like that.

So I have my fingers crossed that next year we will have nice green lawns once again.
