Default Grass is just like us

Your lawn or grass is just like us it need food, water and protection to survive. Most of the elements needed for grass to exist can be found naturally in the environment. However, adding fertilizer with three major elements – nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus to your lawn, you can build a lush beautiful carpet of grass.

Before you go to the local garden center to buy a their brand of the so called best lawn fertilizer or think about a homemade lawn fertilizer it’s important to first understand why your lawn depends and needs nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus to flourish.

1.Nitrogen , of all the major elements your lawn needs, nitrogen the most.

2.Potassium it works right along with the nitrogen to help toughen the roots and foliage and grass leaves are foliage – this enhances your lawn’s ability to resist drought, wear and tear, disease and cold weather.

3.Phosphorus it rounds up the big fertilizer three working more under the surface to encourage strong grass root growth.

Default Re: Grass is just like us

I have always used Scott's turf builder weed and feed.I fertilize my lawn with it four times a year, once at the begining of each season.I always have green grass all year long and it also kills the weeds and burrs slowly so while the weeds are dying the grass is getting greener and fuller.

This weed and feed made by Scott's has all of the chemicals that you need to have a perfect lawn.We won best dressed yard for four years straight using the turf builder and planting a few plants in our yard, that's all.

Give it a try and tell me what you think.
