Default Giving your Garden Feng Shui

Gardens that make you feel good are gardens with feng shui. These gardens have some specific elements, such as texture, color, height, sight, smell and sound. These elements cause us to remember a special moment or time, or leave us with a message.

Have you ever noticed that some gardens make you feel good? If you ask the experts, they'll say such a garden has good feng shui. Feng shui is a Chinese art and science that has been around for some 4,000 years, yet it's only recently caught on in the U.S., and gardeners are finding it to be an integral factor in design.

When I saw this, I just had to share it with you. This is the feeling I want to achieve in my own little garden, and thought it might interest you also.

I just wish I had more room to do all to my larger flower bed that I would like to do.

One thing I do want to do this summer is to add more plants, and to get a wrought iron bench to put under the tree.

I will add some coleus, and some more flowering plants, plus put in more stones that will meander to the seating area.

I may in time, extending this garden is part of my plans.
