Default Fruit trees grown for small spaces.

This technique trains the trees to grow flat against a wall. You can learn to prune them and how often if you look up Espalier. This is the art of training the trees. The most common trees are apple and pear but there are others such as peach that can also be taught to do this. I like this idea and may try my hand at it in the next year or so.

That looks really nice. I like growing edibles. There is also a fruit tree type called "spire" that's widely available now. It grows straight up, not bushy but narrow. The apples grow tight to the tree trunk. It only grows 6 feet tall, like a 6 foot spike covered with flowers and later fruit. You can grow these on the tiniest of spaces, or in pots.

O wow these are really neat. They almost look fake to me just because I have never seen such a thing before. What a great idea! This would be great for those spaces in the yard that we just don't know what to do with because there isn't a lot of room. This would be great along walls that you would prefer to "hide." Thanks for the tip,.
