Default Flower Beds

We were just talking in here yeaterday about planting flowers and flower beds and all of that and I had said that I haven't put in a single flower bed this year. I used to do up beautiful flower beds. Ones to make the neighbors envious. Now their yards are looking way better than mine! I really wish that I still had the time to put towards the yard like I used to.

I found these pictures of beautiful flower beds and though I'd share them with ya'll.

I wish I had pictures of some of the flower beds I have done in the past.

Those are beautiful flower beds and I wish I had the time and the energy to do mine up like that.

But I like the ones that I have. One is at the bottom of my deck steps and is quite pretty. Lots of green and I used red mulch to finish it off.

Then I have a larger one out back with my irises and lilies. It is also very pretty.

I have plants in the front of the house too. Peonies, hostas, tulips, and ferns, and a real pretty plant that I cant remember the name of.

The plants add a lot of color all summer long. And working in the different flower beds is very relaxing.

wow they are beyond beautiful. its is so much work to keep up with a flower bed but ive always loved them. they are so pretty and they catch peoples eye.

if one day i get to a place in my life where i can afford a huge one and have time to take care of it i would love to have me something that looks like that with a fountain too lol.

its always nice trying to make your neighbors jealous with your yard. i use to do it all the time when we seen our neighbor mowing we would get out and mow it was fun and the yard got mowed lol.

To me this is a beautiful way to incorporate a water feature with greenery. This would be quite expensive and take up a good deal of space, but it gives you the idea of how great water features can be.

Water features are very pretty but as you said... expensive! They are expensive to purchase, expensive to install and expensive to operate! If I had the money though I would certainly love something like that. It is beautiful, very classy.

Wow those are all very nice flowers! I wish I had the time to put into making the yard looks as beautiful as those pictures. I used to really enjoy sprucing up the yard and planting flowers.

I really like the way people incorporate water features into the their landscaping. I've always been a sucker for the water fountains.
