Default Fall and your flower beds.

We are coming up on August and now the flowers we have so lovingly nurtured for spring and summer blooming are starting to give up their blooms for the year.

When the last of the blooms have come and gone for the year, be sure to dead head these plants. To "dead head" your plants simply means to cut back the blooms so that the energy the plant uses for the rest of the season will be given to root growth and so forth for a great plant next season.

Neglecting your plants right now can lead to poor bloomers next year.
