Default Dealing With Weeds

From expert gardners to a novice weeds are something that everyone has to deal with in their gardens.

One good thing is that there are some ways to help keep them at bay if not completely out of your gardens.

Start off your garden whether it is for flowers, veggies, shrubs or what ever else you want by removing weeds and their roots as much as possible.

Then cover the garden area with landscaping fabric. Poke holes in the landscaping fabric to place you plants in the soil. The fabric will really help to keep those pesky weeds away.

Then once your garden has been planted with what you want add a thick layer of mulch to not only cover the landscaping fabric but to also keep weeds away and to help control the temp and moisture levels in your garden.

I know some people use plastic instead of landscaping fabric and this is something I don't recommend because it isn't good for the environment and if you decide to change things up later on, plastic is a huge pain to remove. The landscaping fabric is much easier to remove and healthier for the planet.
