Default Collecting Seeds

Today I went out to my flower garden to gather up the seeds. I have a few different flowers there that I wanted to get seeds from to have them ready for next year.

I will get enough seeds from all of my flowers to replant my flower garden next year and save myself from having to go out and buy new flowers or seeds.

The flowers are dying off right now and it is the time to head out there and gather up those seeds so that next year you can once again plant them and have a beautiful flower garden.

I have gathered enough seeds already from all of my flowers that I will be giving some of them away to friends and family so that they too can add them to their flower gardens or even start a flower garden.

I just wanted to remind everyone that if you wanted to collect seeds from your flowers, that it is a good time to head out there and start gathering them up and bringing them in to dry and save them for next year.

I also do this, gather the seeds, then plant them next year. For years now, I have gathered in my marigold seeds and you wouldnt believe the size of the plants I now have from these seeds.

You also have to remember to cut off all dead blooms and trim the plants back for the winter. This way they will come up healthier and fuller next spring.

I still have to get my plants cut back. That is something I really need to get out there and do and I also have to do that at my old man's place as well.

He has just always left the plants around his place go and never much bothered with them and I am surprised that they have managed to survive as long as they have.

Though I am taking over the care of them and I still have hostas that need to be cut back and gotten ready for the winter ahead.

So much to do it seems that I never have time to get everything done that I want to get done,LOL.

You really need to get this done before it frosts this week otherwise you might end up cutting them back to far and killing them.

It doesnt take long and really helps you to have bigger, stronger plants come spring time.
