Default Climbing Vines

If you need to cover your trellis or any other thing that you want to hide. here is a place that shows you what vines that climb and cover and which ones to use.

There is one critical point to remember about climbing vines though. You need to consider members of your family or guests that may have a bee sting allergy.

For those of us who have family members with the bee sting allergy, we should only use non flowering climbing vines for safety reasons.

The flowering climbing vines could be used away from your house in areas where people dont usually congregate.

English Ivy is a great non flowering vine and looks great when climbing up a trellis. Never plant any vine to grow up the side of your house as they can get under the siding and ruin it.
