Default Sweeten the deal.

This is a smart way to sell your home. The information
provided probably isn't new to the more experienced but
it may come in handy to a newbie to flipping. Selling your
home can be a long process but these ideas may shorten
it up a bit.

Quote:
Your house has been on the market for months. The for-sale sign, spattered with mud, has tilted over in surrender. As you go to straighten it, you trip over the morning newspaper, and, presumably, your answer: Inside is a story about a home that sold quickly after owners tossed in Hannah Montana concert tickets.

So, do you race inside to see what snazzy perks you can get hold of? A friend with ballgame tickets? A relative with a time share? Your old Harley? Is the age-old marketing ploy -- the incentive – a home seller's sure-fire solution in this dismal buyer's market? The answer is yes … and no.

I really hope you find these tips useful. They seem to make sense and
I really hope that they help you sell your home quickly. Good luck.

I can see where this would help sell the house. In these days with the economy being the way it is, even paying for warranties and such things as cleaning services would be a real plus for the buyers.

Having a seller pay the closing costs would be a really big help, especially to first time buyers. So yes, add some perks such as these, it just may be the thing to make that house sell faster.

I agree with flippinout that helping the buyer with paying closing costs would certainly get a house sold more quickly. There is so much to pay for when moving, and making a house a home that any help from the seller would be a plus to moving the sale along.

i can not see too many home sellers doing this for too many home buyers

i mean really they are out to make some money on the sale of their home

not give it to a buyer just to make a sale

I just don't think this a practice that is going to go to far some where

a long the lines the money comes form some where

whether its in the price of the home or closing cost and if you can get the

financing for a 100.000 home the closing cost cant break you

Every house I have sold I have paid the buyers closing costs and helped them with a down payment, plus provided a home warranty ($375). We always budget for those expenses because our target buyer is usually a 1st time homebuyer that needs that kind of assitance.

Having bought a few houses Paying the Closing Cost and helping with the downpayment is a definate insentive for the buyer. Budgeting such things into the price you are asking for the house the Seller really doesn't lose a dime and it get their house sold quicker because the buyer feels he is getting a deal.

Exactly!!! Make the buyer feel like you are going above and beyond to help them and that they are getting a deal...

Thanks for clearing that up. I totally get the comment on
for every good thing done there are negative repercussions.
The same is said about negatives. There is a positive side,
helping your buyers helps you to sell more quickly. No one
who owns a home for sale wants to wait a long time to sell.
I love to see people stepping up and offering something that
people want or need.
