Default Mortgage Helpers Now Flipping Homes

Personally I think this is questionable. Hearing that mortgage helpers who are supposed to help those homeowners who are struggling to avoid being foreclosed on, is now actually in the process of buying foreclosed homes and flipping them to resell.

I am all for people taking these empty homes and fixing them up and reselling them. Though I don't think that a mortgage helper company should be looking for these homes just to flip themselves.

It just doesn't seem right to me. Though that is just my personal opinion. Now if they fixed these homes up and were selling them for lower prices for those who have already lost their homes to foreclosures then that wouldn't be so bad.

Though from what I read they already bought a home for less than $40,000 and have fixed it up and put it on the market for the price of more than $110,000.

That is quite a profit that they are going to make if they get the asking price for the home. I just believe this is going to be some conflicts for the company and what they are supposed to be doing.

Ya know that may be a little bit fishy, especially after hearing so much about how mortgage lenders have pushed foreclosures through without much todo!

Are they pushing for the foreclosures only to buy them themselves? I certainly hope not and if they are they need to be stopped.

I dont like the sounds of this. Makes you wonder how many homes are foreclosed on just so these people can flip and resell them. That would be so totally unfair and if it is found out that this is what they are doing, then these people need to be prosecuted.

The people that are struggling need help, not stabbed in the back for someone elses profit.

I honestly hope that they aren't helping to make sure families lose their homes in foreclosure, but if they are then your right they need to be stopped and prosecuted.

I guess time will tell us what exactly is going out, because any wrong doing will come out eventually it always does.
