Default House Flipping Murder

This is insane.

Reginald Robinson is facing up to 33 years in prison after being convicted of soliciting the murder of his business partner in an illegal house flipping scam. The partners name was Kashmir Billon.

Here is what happened.

A friend of Robinson's came forward and said that Robinson had offered him $50,000 to murder Billon but he turned him down. Next thing everyone knows is they found Billon dead outside of his car which was riddled with bullets.

The friend that came forward testified in court but Robinson's wife testified also and gave Robinson an alibi. Jurors were deadlocked and did not convict Robinson of murder but instead of solicitating the murder.

Prosecutors are trying to decide whether or not to retry the case.

The reason all of this happened is because Billon is the one who funded the projects. They had built two houses and then Robinson got a fake buyer to say he would pay almost double for one of the houses. Billon put out the downpayment of $82,000. What they were doing is they were tring to defraud JPMorgan Chase of a $417,000 loan.

Unbelievable.

What ever happened to good, honest, hard work to make a living?

That is such a shame. It seems that you have to be so careful these days when you partner up with someone. And that pertains not only to house flipping but to anything in which you would have a partner.

And you are so right, it seems everyone these days is looking for the "quick" money. There is no such thing. It takes hard work and a lot of hours invested to make a decent income these days and fewer and fewer people seem to want to make that effort.

You know, you think that you have heard it all every time that you hear of something different happening. There really is no tellingwhat exact lengths that some people will go to for money now a days.

The Bible predicts things to only get worse,I am strong and try to keep a possitive attitude any ways about the whole situation, but when I hear how mean and greedy people are getting it really scares the hell out of me.

I think of what life is going to be like in ten or twenty years when my kids are grown and having their own children and wonder how bad life is going to be for them.It saddens me,and I just try to concentrat on my life with God.
