Default Homebuyers Take Advantage of Slow Market

Homebuyers are taking advantage of the slow selling housing market. Theya re making bolder demands than ever such as major home repairs, warranties on appliances and also tax rebates.

Extremely low prices are not enough to make buyers happy these days, they want more for their money. They want new furnaces, paved driveways and carpeting replaced.

Buyers are in control and thay know what to do with the power. They have been able to get more out of the sellers then ever before.

In some places, buyers have been demanding full tanks of fuel oil to be included at no extra charge. Closing costs are going back to the sellers to pay. Many sellers are having to purchase a one year warranty on all of the homes appliances.

All of these incentives are being written in writing.

During the housing boom, buyers were accepting houses "as is". This isn't working these days. Sellers are having to wait long periods of time, in many cases, to get prospects for their homes. They are willing to throw in the extras to get them off the market.

And with good reason, Jared. It seems that the housing crisis we are facing is no way near being over. The price of homes just keeps falling, with no end in sight as of yet. The buyer is definitely the one in charge right now, and if it's possible for that buyer to wait, he's sure to get a lot of house for the money he puts out
