For the last six months there have been at least 7 homes on our street that had been foreclosed on. They just sat there with for sale signs in the yards but no one seemed to give them a second thought.

Though with in the last two weeks four of those homes have all of a sudden been purchased and there are signs of them being repaired and repainted.

They are actually starting to look as though these homes were just build a month ago. They look really good. I was talking to one young lady who had purchased one of the homes and she is having the home fixed up to re-sell it, and says that there were a couple of other homes in the area that were apparently bought for the same reason.

I guess this shows that even though we are still seeing recession signs that there may be also signs of better times ahead of us.

Every day I walk by these houses on my daily walk, and the improvements that I have been seeing in these houses have been dramatic.

The houses were in decent shape before, but by replacing things like shutters, roofing, planting flowers, and adding a fresh coat of paint have mades some awesome changes to the houses.
