Default Future Houses

I was reading an article about what kind of houses people are looking for these days and for the most part, the answer is smaller. People are now looking for less because less is more affordable.

Just two years ago most house hunters would look for a house with at least two full bathrooms, a family room as well as a living room, a finished basement, walk in closets and large pantries. I guess this trend is changing.

The master suite with the walk in closet, the full bath with jacuzzi tub and all of that isn't important anymore. The housing crash and the economy has changed peoples ideals of what the perfect home is.

I think it's a good thing. We always want more and rarely do we realize when it's too much. Thats what got us in this financial mess in the first place. Bigger, better, more, more, more!

Now on the other hand, since I have never lived in a house like that, I still want all of that rofl! At least I'm honest right? lol
