Default Winter Staging

Remember that if your trying to sell your home in the colder weather, you need to make sure that the house is warm so that lookers are going to be comfy.

Also make sure that the walk ways to the home and around the home are clear from obsticles, snow, ice and anything else that can be a problem to people walking around.

Icecicles haning from the roof is also another danger that needs to be addressed in the winter weather. Winter offers some beautiful scenery, but with beauty there also comes many dangers that have to be watched out for.

I just wanted to remind everyone to keep an eye on things this winter when staging a home for sale.

And, another thing you can do is stick an apple pie in the oven right before the showing. This will give the home the feeling of warmth and homieness.

You can also have a fresh pot of coffee on just in case the lookers take you up on the offer of a piece of fresh apple pie.

Great idea. Having snacks and drinks available to those house shopping is a great way to make people feel more at home and comfortable.

Filling the home with subtle scents like apple pie baking in oven is great, though I would not recommend using things like fragrence sprays, and other over whelming smells, because some may find it repulsive or have allergic reactions to them.

They may also think that you are trying to mask an odor of some sort with an over powering spray and they will be wary of what the odor is!!! I love the baking pie idea. It's a good one.

Something else you can do is to use those flameless candles. They have a light scent and make rooms very cozy without being dangerous.

If Selling in the winter is not hard enough the staging of a home is just as confussing. Decorate the out side of the home with each holiday for instance Christmas is almost here do a nice wreath on the door and some holly on a mantel or some soft sented canles of the season maybe a few l table settings to show how the dinning area would look like decorated for the holidays
