Default Warm and Comfy Staging

It is important when your staging ahome for sale that you take your own likes out of the home. Keeping things neutral is going to be what you want so that all who see the home can picture themselves more easily living there.

This means family photos, art, decorations and so on. Make sure that the home's appliances are completely updated and that the walls are painted in warm earthy tones.

If you want to add in splashes of color here and there which is a good idea, use those color splashes to draw the eye of possible buyers to attract their attention to things that are important for them to see. Things like views, antiques, new construction and so on.

If you aren't able to do this, then taking some index cards and writing little facts about the house on them will help those viewing the house gain more knowledge about the house itself.

You are so right. You want the people looking at the house to be able to envision themselves and their belongings in the house. If you have your photos and things all about it makes it harder for them to see their things in the spaces.

Staging is a very important part of your sales effort and if you arent sure just how to do it, there are people who will come in and do it for you.

Another important thing to do when staging you home is to board your household pets. Most people dont think of doing this but it is a very important factor when you are showing you home to potential buyers.

I have to agree about the pets. There are many people in this world who are allergic to animals, so having them in a home that your showing is not going to be a good idea.

Either board them for a while, ask a friend to care for them or a family member.

Pets are great to have, I am a huge animal lover, though one thing I wouldn't want to deal with is a pet following me around or even jumping on me and barking.
