No house is perfect, and not everyone can put a bunch of money into a home that they are planning to sell to make it appear to be much better than it really is.

I have seen many things online and on Tv that say you should be upfront reguarding things in the home that are in need of work on such as carpet replacement because of stains and what not as well as holes in the walls which have been covered up and so on.

However personally I have to say that I would much rather have the owners of the home be straight forward when it comes to things like this. I really would be upset to find all of this kind of stuff after it was to late to change my mind about buying the home.

I would rather know all of the facts prior to making my decision, and having a home owner being upfront about things like this, would make me feel alot better about buying the home because if they are honest enough to tell the truth about such things then chances are there arent going to be any other surprises waiting for you when the sale is final.
