There are a lot of people who think that staging a home for sale is simple and easy. Though that is not at all true.

Staging a home for sale its important that you not only remove your personality, make sure that the home is very clean ( and that is the part that can take the longest to complete), and of course make any repairs that are needed to the house.

These three things of course sound very simple, but they are far from actually being simple.

The best colors for a home when staging it for sale are neutral colors, though adding in a splash of color here or there to attract a persons eye to a great feature in the house is a good idea.

Also make sure that you don't use air fresheners in the home, as some people may have allergies. Instead try baking a batch of cookies for the visitors to enjoy while looking at the house.

There are some who use scented candles to make the home smell warm and inviting, though personally I wouldn't recommend this as there are some candle scents that people really dislike, and this can turn them away from the home.

These are just some tips to help anyone who is planning staging a home for sale to help them along the way.
