Default Staging Tips and Ideas

After some research I have found that there are some really great ideas that can be used to make the selling of a home go much more smoother. Things like of course house cleaning.

No one wants to view a home which is trashy. Cleaning the walls, floors, furniture if need be, windows, counters, cabinets and more. If a home is messy possible buyers are going to be put off not only because of the mess its self but who would want to move into a house that wasn't taken care of. Lets be frank here if a house is left in a mess then you just know that the previous owners sure didn't do much to care for the home itself.

Then of course there is the fact that you want the house to feel warm and inviting to all who enter. So painting the walls in colors like white, beige or cream colors are going to be the better bet.

Removing personal items like family photos, collectibles and things along those lines are going to allow people to better picture themselves living in the home. That is what you want them to do.

Now when it comes to pets, your best bet is to ask a family member or friends to pet sit while you are showing your home. Some people are allergic or have fears when it comes to animals. So getting them out of the home is a great idea.

Using throw rugs, pillows, center pieces to spice up the place here and there and add a few splashes of color.

Make sure that your yard has curb appeal, make it feel inviting to onlookers.

Pressure wash the exterior of the home with bleach and water, cleaning any build up of mold or mildew.

Leave the furniture and decor in a minimal display making the home feel open and roomy.

Replace any old fixtures and sockets this is very cheap and adds to the viewing of the home.
