In my opinion the most important thing to remember when staging a house for sale is that less is more. Simple is beautiful.

You want to keep rooms clean and simple, uncluttered. A cluttered space looks crowded and small. You can make small rooms look much larger just by keeping them simple.

Accessories are very important to tie a room together. That can be throw pillows, candles, wall art and so on. But you want to keep them in moderation.

The placement of furniture is very important as well. You want the rooms layout to flow. You want to be able to easily walk through the room into the next one.

When preparing the home for open house, remember less is more.

this is very true. my house right now is looking a little crowded i need to do a very late spring cleaning lol. i hate not having the money to buy all the things i would love in my home to make it more suitable for my taste.

im very good with rearranging and decorating and matching colors together and all that good stuff. its very fun i enjoying doing it very much. lol i want to do a ton to this house to spice it up and i know once i can afford it you best believe it will be done! lol it will be nice to sit back and look around at all my hard work!

My house is the same way. My house is very cluttered right now which onely makes it harder to keep clean. I have so many things that I want to get done but I never have the time. I work a lot and when I am not at work the kids have to be here or there so I my house is extremely negleted these days. I need a week of nothing to do so that I can get caught up! It's that bad! I don't know how other moms do it. I sure can't seem to.
