Default Staging Done Simple

If your trying to stage your home for sale, keep things simple. Don't over decorate, remove clutter, remove personal touches and keep things warm and inviting.

Also don't forget to clean, clean, clean! If the home isn't perfectly clean (or awefully close to it) people aren't gonna wanna seriously consider the house. I know I wouldn't want to buy a home that hasn't been cleaned because if the previous owners couldn't clean before they tried to sell what else didn't they bother to do while living in the house.

Thats what goes through my mind and I am guessing I am not the only one.

Something else that will help in the sale of your home is if there is anything that isn't working or broken, get it fixed and get it working. This is going to help you get the sale that you want and better money in the sale.

Great tips.

I often see where people have staged a house and have gone completely overboard.

To put it simply, you just don't want the house to be empty. You want just enough to make it feel like a home.

There is definitely such a thing as too much.
