Is it worth the cost?

Is it worth the cost to get a pro to stage your home to help you sell it? When you can stage it yourself, with some simple ideas found on the internet, in books or on t..v shows.

I would not waste my money getting someone else to do it when I can simply do it myself.

I think that if you have a high priced home to sell and can afford a professional to come in to do it that thats fine. But for the rest of us, as you said, there is so much information on the internet, and in books etc that doing it ourselves can turn out quite sucessfully and be a lot cheaper.

Plus we can still get the price we want for our homes by staging it ourselves just by following a few simple rules and those shows on television can also be a wealth of information when it comes to staging. So dont be afraid to tackle the job yourself.
