Default Holiday Decorating/Staging

You know there is nothing wrong with decorating a home that you have on the market for the Christmas holiday. You should keep it simple and stick with one theme though.

You don't want to clutter the home with colors and decorations. You need to give it a simple but elegant look.

Scents are a great way to greet the home viewers. You can use holiday scented candles and plug ins. You don't want anything too powerful though or they will think you are trying to mask an odor.

Choose just two to three colors and stick with them. A color with a more neutral is good. Something like red and silver go well together and is still simple.

Using greenery is another good way to add color and bring in nature as well. Use holly and pine on the mantle as an example.

Just remember to keep it simple.

Keeping it simple is important and I'd like to mention one thing as well. Using holiday decorations to highlight a great feature in the home as well as the outside is a good way to pull the eyes of the lookers to those great features and help sell the home more quickly.
