I have some ideas that may make it easier to stage your home.
First enter through the door that you will be bringing potential
buyers through. Stop and look at this room. If there is anything
that catches your eye. Lets say a damaged cupboard door put
it on a list of things to do. If you think that there is something
missing in the room add it to your list.
Do this room to room and when you have finished use your list to
do the inside repairs or decorating ideas that you saw as you did
your walk-through.
You can use this same idea in the yard and garage. You want your
first impression to be a strong positive one. Good luck and happy
