Default Don't Forget To Prime

Painting the walls in your home when your in the process of staging don't forget to first clean the walls, then paint the walls with a coat of primer.

This is especially important when the color on the wall is a much darker color for example like a dark brown or even a bright red. Colors like that can be hard to cover especially when your wanting to paint the walls white or maybe a creme color.

This may seem like a whole lot of added work, but that isn't true. When your attempting to colors like I mentioned before it can take several coats to cover the previous colors. By painting the walls with primer first, this will ensure that your job of painting over those colors much easier, making your work load a bit lighter.

As we all know that doing something right the first time means that it is going to save time and hassle later on and that of course is always a good thing.

Default Re: Don't Forget To Prime

I made the mistake of not priming my kitchen walls before we painted them and it was a big mistake. The paint just comes right off.

Primer not only makes the paint cover better but it also helps the paint to stick better.
