One of the most important aspects of house flipping and staging is to have a clean house, top to bottom. Who wants to see a house that is dusty and needs a good scrubbing? Not me! Not only do you need to make the appropriate upgrades throughout the house but you need to give it a good cleaning as well. Make sure everything is spiffy clean!

I was told that one of the best things to clean a wood floor with is tea! They say the tea will not stain the wood and it is completely safe for kids and pets.

They say you should dust mop the floors first using a microfiber dust mop. Next you get yourself a bucket full of really hot water. Then you put at least six tea bags in it. You want it good and strong. Make sure you wring the mop out good. You don't want to soak the floor. The mop should just be damp.

For Vinyl floors you should either use plain water or water with a tablespoon of borax.

For ceramic tile floors you should always avoid anything with vinegar in it. they say the acid in it will etch the floors.
