Default Bedroom Staging

I am in the process of sprucing up my bedroom. It has had the same worn-out, tired look for a long time now. I guess that is the one room I neglect the most because no one really sees it but my husband and I. It's definitely time though, even I am tired of looking at it lol.

I have no plans to paint the walls. They are a neutral color so thats fine. I am however changing out my bedding and curtains and such.

I was shopping at Wal-Mart the other day and went to purchase a sheet set for my bed. I have a King size bed so even the sheets tend to be expensive. I picked out a sheet set that cost $29 and turned down the next aisle and I found full bedding sets for just $39.00! The sets included the flat sheet, fitted sheet, bed skirt, comforter, two pillow cases and two pillow shams. All together, matching for $39! I was so happy! So I picked out a set that has browns and tans in it. It's really pretty.

So now I plan to go to Family Dollar because I had seen they have a big wall art sale going on. I am sure I will find some things to go perfectly with the browns and tans and really pull the room together. I haven't decided yet whether I want to go with the lighter tan curtains or brown ones. But I know I can get those at Family Dollar as well.

Default Re: Bedroom Staging

Sounds like you are going to have a great looking bedroom when your finished. I know that my bedroom is also the same way, I never worried about it because it was only us who saw it, but I too got really tired of it and made some changes.

I also changed the curtains, bedding and I did paint the walls. I painted ours white because the rest of the room is all done in black and gold including the furniture and the bed.

Though by adding a few throw pillows, changing the curtains and bedding the room has a completely new look to it and it looks great. At least we think so and thats all that matters.
