Default Winter Rust

Winter is extremely harsh on metal items outside. Things like lamp posts and other lighting fixtures, fencing, railings and so on.

These are the things that are quite noticeable to everyone visiting so make sure that as soon as the weather has cleared enough for you to get out there that you do an inventory of these items.

Some may need to be replaced while others may need just a bit of sanding and a fresh coat of paint. Of course this will all depend on the amount of damage done to item.

If these items are taken care of prior to the winter weather setting in, then usally there is no worry of the ice and snow causing alot of damage.

Keeping the metal surfaces around your home protected yearly will save you alot of money ( by not having to replace anything) and it will make sure that the curb appeal of your home remains looking beautiful with out alot of hassle.
