Default What makes a house attractive?

I love the property or yard and must have lots of it.
Some people prefer a small well maintained yard with
a fence. I love large open spaces.

Some prefer to have hedges and lots of flowers. Others
like many trees and perhaps a pond or a creek. I like them
all.

Does the exterior of the home really matter. I say not really
when I see a property for sale I do of course like to see
something in good repair but it isn't all important. I don't
mind a fixer upper. I just don't want to have to basically
rebuild it.

What is it that you look for when you are looking at potential
homes?

I don't mind a fixer upper either but there are some things I would like to find already done.

Neatness is something I would definitely look for. It wouldn't really matter to me whether they had already done a lot of landscaping, as long as the lawn is trimmed, hedges and whatever else may be there.

I would say the inside of the house is more important to me. I like an open floor plan, (even though I don't have one lol, I would like one) More than one bath would be a big plus and a nice sized kitchen with granite countertops and nice cupboards. (I guess I am pretty picky LOL)

On the outside, I want enough back yard for a swingset for the grandkids, and a trampoline or some other source of entertainment for them, plus room enough for a couple of flower beds.

On the inside, a very large kitchen is a must because thats where everyone tends to congregate when they visit us. Plus I like room to move around in my kitchen. I used to do a lot of cooking, and Thanksgiving and Christmas would find a lot of people here. So many that we had to use the kitchen, and dining room to sit them all, plus we had people eating in the livingroom because there were so many of them.

Lots of counter space is a must here too.
